Help refresh the Wild Goose Day centre this Easter 

Easter is a season of renewal, hope and new beginnings. 

This year, we’re inviting you to be part of something transformative, helping refresh the Wild Goose day centre so it can continue to offer dignity, warmth and support to people facing homelessness and hardship. 

Every day, the Wild Goose welcomes people who need a hot meal, practical help, and a place where they are treated with compassion and respect. But parts of the building now urgently need refresh so that we can continue to provide a friendly and welcoming environment. 

With your help this Easter, we can renew the space and renew hope for hundreds of people.

Why the refresh is needed 

The Wild Goose day centre is one of inHope’s busiest venues. 

Each week it provides: 

• Hot meals for people experiencing homelessness 
• Showers and clean clothing 
• Access to support with housing, finances and health and wellbeing 
• A place of welcome and community 

 But after years since it was last refurbished, parts of the building now need a refresh to remain friendly and welcoming. 

 Funds raised through this campaign will help us: 

• Improve dining and kitchen areas. 
• Refurbish showers and washing facilities. 
• Upgrade communal spaces. 
• Create a more welcoming environment for guests.

It is somewhere they are known, respected and supported as they rebuild their lives. 

A refreshed and welcoming centre will mean:

Your gift today will help refresh the Wild Goose day centre and ensure it remains a place of welcome for those who need it most.  

• £15 could provide a pot of paint, to freshen up the Wild Goose.   
• £50 could help provide plants and soft furnishings for a sense of calm and grounding.  
• £250 could support the purchasing of new furniture or the “upcycling” of our current furniture to give it a new lease on life.  
• £500 could fund the installation of new, warm, and dimmable lighting. 

Any money raised over and above what we need for the redecoration will be used to fund activities and services within the Wild Goose.
