Housing Empowerment Worker
At inHope we are passionate about breaking the cycle of homelessness, insecurity and injustice. We are developing a network of homes, offering supported housing in partnership with local churches. We see housing as not just bricks and mortar but as a place that tenants can call home; a place and community where they are known, loved and able to thrive. We are doing this through a model called Hope into Action.
We are now recruiting an Empowerment Worker whose role will be to work with:
- Tenants – to empower them to live well and thrive;
- Churches – who provide befriending volunteers; and
- The Hope into Action team – to oversee the houses.
In this part-time role you will support several clients across our houses. You would not be alone but part of the inHope team, as well as a national network of Empowerment Workers who can provide support, encourage you and help to equip you for this role.
- Salary: £10,710 (based on a Full Time Equivalent of £26,775);
- Part-Time: 15 hours per week, with scope to increase as the service grows – the work pattern will be agreed with you and will need to be flexible.
- 84 hours of annual leave, plus paid bank holidays.

Financial Inclusion Facilitator
We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Financial Inclusion Facilitator to join our Client Pathways Team. This role will support clients across inHope’s different venues – including our Foodbank outlets, Wild Goose Day Centre and Spring of Hope Night Shelter. You’ll work directly with clients experiencing food
poverty, homelessness, financial hardship and other complex challenges and will be helping them to access financial inclusion support, develop confidence with money matters and connect with wider support services and community networks.
The role combines practical support, relationship building and collaborative working across inHope teams and external partners. You’ll help create psychologically and trauma-informed environments where people feel safe, respected and empowered. You’ll also contribute to the development of sustainable financial empowerment support across the charity, helping clients access advice, reduce financial pressures and strengthen resilience.
• Salary: circa £21,845K pa, subject to experience (£27,310 FTE).

Digital Fundraising Officer
We’re looking for an organised and creative Digital Fundraising Officer to join our Income and People Team. This new role will deliver inHope’s digital communications and fundraising activity, helping grow supporter engagement, online income and awareness of inHope’s mission, enabling our Christian ministry to people experiencing homelessness, food poverty and other life-disrupting challenges.
You’ll help supporters connect with inHope through engaging content, compelling storytelling and impactful fundraising campaigns. From creating social media and website content, to supporter e-newsletters, digital fundraising and online campaigns, you’ll play a key role in helping people understand the difference their
support makes.
• Full Time Equivalent Salary: £26,775 FTE.
• Actual Salary, based on 30 hours per week: £21,420.

Church & Community Fundraising Officer
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and relational Church and Community Fundraising Officer to join our Income and People Team. This new role will inspire supporters to raise funds through church and community focused activities, events and campaigns.
You’ll build strong relationships with churches, schools, community groups and individuals, equipping them to engage with inHope’s mission through fundraising, events and learning opportunities. Whether delivering talks, supporting coffee mornings and sleepouts, developing fundraising resources or encouraging peer-to-peer fundraising, you’ll help supporters feel connected to the difference they are making.
This role combines relationship building, communication, organisation and practical delivery. You’ll work collaboratively across inHope, helping to grow support, increase participation and strengthen awareness of the charity’s mission and impact.
• Salary: circa £26,775 pa, subject to experience.
• Hours worked per week: 37.5 (Full Time).

Female Waking Night Support Worker (Bank staff)
inHope is looking for a female Bank Waking Staff Night Support Worker, to join the team on a casual contract. This role involves working occasional night shifts, ensuring that Spring of Hope offers a consistent and reliable service for women.
Night Support Workers work in pairs (one waking, one sleeping-in) to oversee the night shelter at Spring of Hope, providing and promoting a mutually caring and safe environment for women staying overnight. They draw upon Trauma and Psychologically Informed approaches to welcome women for the night, ensure that they feel settled and help them to be ready the following morning. The expectation is that guests sleep overnight, but staff are on hand to offer help when needed.
Bank Waking Night Support Workers – Responsible for overseeing the night shelter, with up to eight women each night. This role involves staying awake for the whole 10.5 hour shift and is paid at £13.46 per hour.
The successful candidates will have experience of working with vulnerable women and be able to work both as part of a team and individually. She will be person centred with a sense of calling to clients and the aims of the service, whilst also able to maintain strong boundaries.
