Businesses supporting charities

We partner with Bristol businesses supporting charities who work in their communities to help people overcome insecurities such as addiction and poor mental health. New partnerships are being formed regularly and one such partnership is with Riverside Garden Centre and Cafe in Bedminster, Bristol.

Catherine at the Riverside Garden Centre & Cafe Bristol met with myself (Ant, Life Course Team Leader) and our peer volunteers, Matt and Karen (see photo), to kindly donate plants, seeds, pots, soil and helpful gardening advice for our up and coming Life Course, starting on 3rd October.

One of our recovery themes will be planting seeds of change and growth. Course participants will all plant seeds, nurture them and watch them grow throughout the Life Course as a therapeutic exercise and visual reminder of recovery.

On seeing a post about this on the inHope Instagram profile, one of the Life Course franchise partners, Genesis Trust Bath, said this, “Love this Ant! Might steal the idea for our Life Course @genesis_trust course starting 11th October.”

We are so pleased to partner with Riverside Garden Centre with this project. Thank you Catherine and team for your kindness and generosity!

If you are a business in Bristol who would like to support a local charity whose vision is to see communities where everybody can reach their God-given potential, free from insecurity and injustice, please take a look at our Corporate/Business Support page and get in touch.
