The Life Course Franchise
Our goal is to share the Life Course learning and the resources we have to so those with the heart and potential to run the Life Course in their own context are able to do so and see a similar impact in their ‘client’ group.
We believe our materials are unique in the ‘recovery market‘. Our group materials that are not focussed on the addiction but on the onward journey – a holistic approach to living well in recovery which promotes positive living and help identify safe alternatives to unhelpful behaviours.
We seek to break the cycle of recovery, relapse, recovery, relapse and embrace the place of spirituality and finding purpose in enhancing well-being.
Why join the franchise community?
We have a resource to support meaningful engagement with people in recovery who are potentially a hard to reach group. We believe this course supports the mission of ‘the church’ and helps facilitate a common language / space between the church and those they seek to help.
We provide a ready-made tried and tested unique life-skills curriculum with training to support lay or staff workers to be able to confidently deliver the materials in your own context.

“100% of those completing the Life Course said they had increased HOPE for a better future.”
inHope, the charity of which Life Recovery is a part, is a Christian charity. Our faith informs who we are and what we do. The development of the course over many years has reflected a continued journey of doing what we believe God is calling us do.
The Life Course isn’t an avenue we use to proselytize. However, within the Life Course, we encourage talk of spirituality, prayer and meditation, and within this share how our Christian faith has changed us.
We believe God is the one who can help us to be free. He loves us, shows us the way to live and calls us to take responsibility for our daily choices. There is no obligation or expectation that those attending the Life Course to be of the Christian faith or be exploring it.
We appreciate this may be too Christian for some who do not share our faith and not Christian enough for those who are looking for a more scriptural based programme.
