Mike has held Executive HR Director roles over many years with a variety of national and international companies within the legal and financial sectors.

In addition, his most recent appointment was as a Non-Executive Director working in London for a leading set of barristers Chambers.

Mike has lived in Bristol for several decades since arriving here to study Modern Languages at the University. He is married to Ruth, a local French and Music teacher, with two adult children.

Mike is a regular pianist and organist for Victoria Methodist Church in Clifton, and a member of two local choirs and sax group.

He also serves as a Magistrate in the Bristol and Bath Criminal Courts, enabling him to engage further as a volunteer in the local community.
