Why fundraise for us?

life event collections

For over 35 years, inHope has helped people in Bristol who are struggling with homelessness, hunger, addiction and poor mental health.

Supporters taking part in fundraising has always played an important part in making it possible to serve so many people.

In 2022 / 2023, the Wild Goose, our centre for people struggling with homelessness and hunger, served 23,209 hot meals.

Just £3 could provide someone who is rough sleeping with a meal and the opportunity to access advice and practical support such as sleeping bags, laundry services and showers at the Wild Goose.

The Wild Goose stops my hunger and is a warm, dry place to sit out of the bad weather.

Spring of Hope shelter and support for women in need

Since re-opening the emergency night shelter at Spring of Hope in May 2023, the staff and volunteer team have welcomed and supported 69 women, who would otherwise slept on the streets and been vulnerable to violence and abuse.

£98 could provide a woman with a safe place to sleep for the night.

When I got there it felt like one big family. I was safe and warm and getting help. They’re all very kind at the Spring of Hope, they don’t judge you and they’re really, really helpful.
